Becky Riding I finally have a moment to dig out the recipe I promised you. Its circa 1985-ish, so I imagine its calling for the original dawn detergent. Super Bubbles 2 parts Dawn 4 parts glycerine 1part white Karo syrup I have several versions written down, with this being the final, so I must have been winging it a bit. Hopefully it will work for you. To make the bubbles we took pieces of string, tied the ends together so it formed a loop, dunked it into the water and the bubbles would form in the breeze as the kids pulled the string open. Hope that makes sense. We also learned that if the kids coated their arms with the bubble mixture the bubbles wouldnt pop as quickly (by hitting dry skin) and they could use their hands and arms to form the bubbles. They werent as big as what was in your video, but they were much bigger than anything wed ever seen and a lot of fun. Let me know if you ever do it.
