Becky went up this morning to visit Richard and the nurses tried to wake him up. They succeeded but he became agitated. He’s on a ventilator. Becky said he frowned at her and looked like he wanted to know what was going on but, of course, he can’t talk with the tube down his throat. So the nurses said they will put him back under if he can’t handle it. His temperature has lowered but only to around 101. They said the CAT scan showed nothing going wrong in his brain so they still don’t know where the infection is coming from. Some of the nurses suspect his foot but the doctor said his foot looked okay. Becky said they did more blood work today but she still doesn’t know what the earlier blood work revealed. So. . .we’re still waiting.
