Becoming a mentor will be a great opportunity for you to gain international experience in Groningen! As a mentor you will guide one or more international students. ESN Groningen will link you to an international student that can really use your help. We will exchange the necessary contact information between you and the student(s) which enables you to contact the international student. You can show the student(s) around the city and help them with buying a proper bicycle, opening a bank account, giving a tour around the faculty, et cetera. Besides these practical matters most international students are very interested in getting to know the student life of Groningen. As a mentor you are of course the perfect person to guide them to the best cafés, restaurants and bars! Are you interested in becoming a mentor of an international student?
