It is 2 minute walk from the Largo Metro station Bedroom for rent: It is a typical carpeted bedroom completed with a closet, window and a heating vent. It also has a cable hook-up and a cable box is available for use (if desired) You will be sharing a bathroom with two other roommates. Townhouse: We have huge garage and is a perfect place to store our stuff when necessary. We can even park our cars inside. There is a fancy front load dryer and washer in big room in the basement. The room itself is occupied by a housemate. We have a beautiful wood deck with lounging chairs and grill. During the summer, we use it a lot to grill food and host festive parties. The living room is big and has beautiful leather couch and love seat. We also have a nice flat screen TV. Also have a separate Dining room next to the living room with full size dining table. Huge Kitchen with ample cabinet space. Location: We live in a middle class neighborhood with a strong sense of community. It is populated heavily by white collar professionals. We have three shopping centers near the place. The first one is 2 minutes’ walk. It has a shoppers (grocery store). The second one is 7 minutes’ walk. The third one is approximately 8 minute drive and has Wegmans, Best buy, etc. We also have a Beautiful lake, 2 min walk away. Transportation: We have off the street parking (garage) and on the street parking. Largo Metro Station on blue line is only 5 minute walk. I use it every single day. Housemates: Housemate 1 (male and Deaf): He just graduated last May with masters and now works for a University Department of Transportation. He is fastidious, generous and friendly man. I am honored to be his friend. Housemate 2 (female and hearing): She moved in last month and has masters. She works at a federal agency in DC downtown and is nice, sweet and intelligent person. Me (male and Deaf): I just graduated last month with masters and currently works for a democratic office on the hill. I am friendly, open, and love everyone for who they are. I am incredibly busy during the week due to my job but generally am around the house during the weekend. I am crazy about board games, reading and being happy. What we are looking in a housemate: Our desire is to have a peaceful and co-existing household where everyone feels like they are at home. With this said, we are flexible and happy to accommodate your awesomeness. I am being intentionally vague because everyone have their strength and weaknesses and for me to exclude anyone just because of X or Y is quite silly. However, I want to give you a helpful guideline to understand what we are looking for in a housemate. We are looking for someone who is professional, mature and financially reliable. The only rules we have is to be respectful to each other and use common sense. Utilities: We split 1/3 on Cable ¼ on Scarily fast FIOS internet. ¼ on Water ¼ on Electricity ¼ on Gas
