Been at our hotel since 4 and Eric has been asleep since. Hes so tired, his color isnt so good his nosebleeds and headaches are worse. Im praying the cancer hasnt spread in the last few weeks weve had to wait for treatment. We so wanted to come here and forget all about him being sick but thats just it, hes very sick and needs rest. Im watching him sleep and remembering our fun memories coming here every summer. We did some really stupid and fun things (walking around the abandoned Capt Ron before it sank lol) and free from health worries. Im not sad we are cooped up in our room. Its bittersweet because I love and appreciate him more than ever but I want to fix him and be idiots together. Im praying constantly. I know hes got a long road and I will be his biggest advocate. We will be goobers again soon, and prayerfully until we are 90.
