Been catchin up on Starsky & Hutch reruns these past few months, and just saw an episode from Season 2 called Starskys Lady (originally aired February 1977), where the finale was filmed behind (and inside?) that store on southwest corner of Corbin Ave. @ Sherman Way in Winnetka at the Reseda border, which is now a Fallas. (Mobile gas station & Ortho mattress stores sign can be seen in the background, across the street.) But back then, the building was painted blue on the outside, and appeared to be fully stocked on the inside (assuming it was the actual store, and not just a film set). My assumption has been THAT building used to house a Market Basket grocery store; but I cant remember for sure. Anyone know what used to be there BEFORE it became a Smart & Final in the 1980s?
