Been doing research on Pay and Work Rights. FMC Wimbledon on behalf of Compass group ARE conducting themselves in UNFAIR and POTENTIALLY ILLEGAL working practices. It is against the law to make an employee work more than 48 hours a week. We have been working over 60 hours pw. An employer must get an employee to sign an opt out form if they are, as an individual happy to work for longer. This has not been done. Our line of work does not come under one of the exceptions to the 48 hour rule. Complaints about employers can be made on the Direct Gov Website. Any members of media/press have my full consent to publish this whistle-blowers story.
