Been floored with the flu past few days but needed to train...yes im addicted haha! Gave Mark Stewart a text and we smashed a high volume leg session...starting with some high ass box jumps! Great way to increase explosive power and fire those fast twitch muscles fibres before going onto squats! Quick video of both our highest jumps and fails...marks failure was a total YOUVE BEEN FRAMED moment haha! 9 plate success for me, failed at ten! 13 plate success for mark, failed at 14! Rest of workout was as follows ; Squats. 1 set of 12,10,8,6,4,20. Leg press. 4 sets 20 reps, 5th set 10 reps. Stiff leg deadlifts on deficit 4x12 superset with lying hamstring curl 4x12. Leg extension 6sets of 12 superset first 3 sets with 3x12 squat jumps. Calf raise machine 3xfailure. One of the best training partners ive had throughout the years of karate training and now hoping to smash the gym at least once a month together! Great overall athlete with some insane explosive power! Feel better after getting to train hopefully be 100% by tomorrow morning! Busy busy busy this week and not much spaces for new clients to come on board at the moment. Will update when i have some more time/space!
