Been getting nothing but good news the past few months: a couple months ago I talked with Travis Scotts former associate and manager, showed him my songs and he said my music is incredible and wants me to keep sending him music. I also got feedback from an engineer within the G.O.O.D Music camp. He gave me some much needed feedback concerning my work, gave me some informative tips and said I had some cool ideas that just needed more refining. I was also personally contacted in January by Malik Yusef, longtime artist on Kanyes G.O.O.D Music label to be apart of his new venture, The Private Plane. Dont think I can say too much, but in partnership with Google, it is an independent creative community with major label distribution focused on pushing the envelope in music, film, fashion, visual/digital arts and more. Its very similar to Kanyes creative agency called DONDA, but done on a relatively smaller scale. The only way I couldve joined this was by personal invitation. Although I have neither accepted nor declined yet, I am extremely flattered that I was even given the opportunity to sign. Being the perfectionist I am, Ive been hoarding my music, redoing or straight deleting projects and not letting anyone hear any of my work. But I never stopped for one second to realize that im actually a really creative person and i should be more confident in my music. It is so encouraging to receive positive feedback from people who know what theyre talking about and whose opinions matter. I did not think my Hiphop stuff would outshine my Hardstyle material at this point, but I am SOOO excited for the future. Gotta keep on working, this is only the start. Work hard to perfect your art, network correctly and opportunities will find their way to you. Lets see what the rest of 2014 has in store. Dream big, people! Dont let anyone tell you your dreams are stupid, just focus 100% on what you want to do and you will eventually see results. Anything is possible.
