Been meaning to listen to more of this band for a while, but Im not sure quite what it is I like about this song. I just feel this sense of yearning and honesty, its a feeling similar to the way I feel about the band Alvvays (which Ive posted about before). Indie rock is a place saturated in pretentious vocabulary words pretending to have meaning, meanwhile pop is shallow and empty. I think this song nicely fills a space of music that feels heartfelt and meaningful, but is relatable to a lot of people.
