Been out of social media for a minute working with talented youth in the informal sector to make some pretty dope bags (in my completely biased opinion) lol. Proud to introduce our all in one book bag/travelling bag. All feedbacks are welcomed. And yes, this bag was MADE in GHANA (this week).lol Inspiration behind the Design: Ashanti Golden Stool Why Bags: when I came to Ghana I needed a really good bag to take everywhere. The locally manufactured onse were fashionable but not for everyday use and I did not want to buy anymore imported product out of desperation. I wanted something fashionable that I can organize all my things in. Instead of buying the imported ones I teamed up with (or hired if you are counting whose pockets are hurting) some dope bag makers to make bags that are fashionable and dependable. Challenges: Getting them to believe they can actually do my crazy designs. We spend more time on debating how realistic it is to make the bag than actually making it. Financial reasources: need some thick capital to buy quality materials and since Ghana pretty much imports everything you can just imagine how crazy the prices are. I will be more than willing to answer any questions or concerns. We are still in manufacturing phase so all feedbacks are welcomed.
