Been really worried about the whole moving company fiasco. I was tricked into signing a bill of lading which was not filled out. They had covered the top and said it was just an agreement to let our things be shipped interstate. Just looked up the laws and found that a household goods company can not represent themselves as a mover. These guys were brokers not movers as they represented themselves. The customer has the right to be there at time of weighing but if the customer cant make it their rights are still in enforcement. They can demand a weighing of disputed goods in their presence which they refused to do. A moving company can not demand more than 110% of the agreement at time of delivery on a disputed claim. We were told pay everything or our stuff would be dropped by the side of the road and we would never see it again. That is just three of the laws that they broke. Feeling better.
