Been trying to avoid political stuff, but the whole deal over the Health Care Act is one of the more bizarre things I have ever seen in my life. You have The Tea Party, too few to make a wave on their own, hijacking the Republican Party and attempting to blackmail the government. They do not care if they drag the Republican Party, the United States, and the world down with them (for real). All over an argument that was lost long ago. NOBODY knows what the long term effect of the law will be. Its all speculation on both sides. The bad part is that the Tea Party and Fox News continue to flat out LIE about what is IN the law. Nearly everything they say about it is fabricated out of thin air. I dont know how many FB posts Ive seen with excerpts that do not actually exist in the legislation. If the REAL law is so bad, why make up an imaginary one? Despite the fact that anyone can read the law for themselves, many instead CHOOSE to believe the lies. They CHOOSE to be misinformed. Why? Regardless of the consequences, the law was passed. You win or lose and you move on. What if every time anything passed the losing side said We lost, but WE QUIT until we win? WTF? Thats not how our system works. These sore losers are digging their own graves.
