Been waiting to show this for a while, it needed to be unveiled for a surprise first. Surprise complete - now brought to you all! Finished My grandfathers Shadow box, WW2 Veteran, U.S.Army 11th Brigade Tank Battalion. You may have seen FURY well, it was based on gramps, and his unit. Personally drove through concentration camps gates, liberating the Jewish Prisoners. They things he saw and did, made it quite apparent why he NEVER spoke of war. Got together with the local tank battalion to have the flag folded, and ceremoniously placed into the case ( photos in the case). Along with his war medals, unit patches, and other personal items he had on his side during the war. The box includes, shrapnel and grenade fragments. Finally able to have this here at Headquarters, and could not be happier. Heavens gates opened wide for him in late 2000, as he had seen his time in HELL.
