Been watching the 1978 cartoon version of Flash Gordon. Its really cool. But i wish Timothy Dalton could have done the voice for Baron. In the series they guy they got to be the voice of Baron sounds kind of like a mix between Snidely Whiplash and James Mason. A plus for the cartoon version though, its closer to the comics. The movie was just kind of weird. Dont get me wrong I like the movie a lot, but what is Mongo supposed to be? Just a bunch of asteroids floating in a cloud? In the series it is an actual planet. Kind of like Nibiru or something, flying on its own path controlled by Ming. Oh yeah and Prince Thun should have been in the movie.
