Bees Knees BrewPub - Visited last night to Sample the beers from our first Brewery on Samui. This has taken Jim 2 years after a very lenghy process, he held on in there and finally had the go to open. So to you Jim I salute you and wish you all the luck. The Brewery clearly is Jims passion and is clear when he talks about his brewing process and the flavors. Jim is a pleasant, interesting gentleman, I use the term gentleman because this is how he instantly made me feel being around him. Unsure which beer takes your fancy, you can sample each Beer/Pilsner. We sampled at 1st a dark beer, but not the Chocolate Beer (sorry Jim I have forgotten the name :( ) This was a strong tasting Beer as I expected, not my cup of tea, but beer never has been - Jack enjoyed it, many different flavours swirling around your palet. Next the fruity light beer, mmmmmmmmmmm just yummy not only the taste, the aroma is awesome. Jack had the Pilsner not a similar flavor to the Pilsner I remember, but still an enjoyable refreshing drink and not to strong a taste. This is definitely a place to visit to sample some new flavored beers on Samui and meet Gentleman Jim in a laid back environment with the brewing tanks on show.
