Before I go to bed, I would like to say something to some it will mean nothing to others it will. The Bible clearly speaks about us arguing over things that do not matter, it also talks about God being clearly able to discern the hearts of men. He also talks about honoring him in all we do. First we are not to argue over peoples traditions, we have no clue as to what is in someones heart, only God has that covered. If you honor God in all you do then out are doing right. Second, what is sin to one man may not be sin to another, again God sees the intent of the heart and he will correct those things that need to be corrected. That is why we pray search me oh Lord. To argue over the holidays, or another sin YOU think someone is doing, well it is foolishness on your part because everyone is in a different place in their walk with Christ, and again, when and IF God chooses to correct it He will. None of us is sin free, and if not celebrating a holiday makes you feel good then do that but dont criticize, other who feel they are OK doing it. The Bible says be careful with which measure you use to judge someone, for it is with that same measure you will be judged. Do you really think bringing a stronger judgement on yourself is really worth the argument of a holiday? We have ten commandments to follow, then of course the greatest commandment to love one another. I am not sure about all of you but to invoke or cause someone to sin in anger, because you choose to not celebrate a particular holiday and they do. Well, I am pretty sure this is pure pettiness, and God is not smiling down on anyone in that conversation. Actually, this sounds a lot like a babe in Christ who is zealous for the Lord, but has some more learning to do and needs to remember that it is the spirit of the law not the letter, that really counts.
