Before I head to my drivers license test tomorrow morning, I want to share about my last day of in-car lessons with a driving instructor. (i hope this is worth reading) As we were driving, the instructor said to park at a gas station so we could switch seats. He wanted to show me how to merge onto the freeway. So we pulled over, switched seats, and headed off to the freeway. Moments after exiting the freeway, we stopped at a red light. I looked around and saw that the cars around me were moving but ours was still. I looked at my instructor and lo and behold, a sleeping man. Help me. After I slapped his arm, he woke up and we went back to the same gas station to switch seats so I could practice merging. After that we headed to my house. I dont know how long he slept on the return trip, but I did everything I could. I tried to subtly wake him up when we were at a red light. Neither loud clearing of throat nor the cracking of knuckles could awake this slumbering beast. The only thing he woke up to... was when he heard himself snore. Ahhhhh good times. Good times. I am so prepared. Stay off the roads kids.
