Before I say this, Id like to acknowledge how much I appreciate crossing guards and their voluntary sacrifice they make each day for the safety of the children of our nation...Now, To the old female crossing guard in Quinton (on Ur way toward lac n wild oaks) .. Ill b the first to admit I was speeding this morning, speed limit is 25 and I was going about 35, ur assumption that my hand up was a sarcastic wave or however u took it was completely incorrect, I raised my hand to u in recognition that u wanted me to slow down because at that time of day kids are walking to school, I was not however about to slam on my brakes, or make a huge production of it and delay my WORK route, ur not a traffic cop...and if u were by the rd and not 10 ft off in the grass, I may have seen u earlier and not had to witness ur frantic spastic waving of your sign, as if I was about to strike a baby stroller( there wasnt even any kids waiting to cross)...u did ur job, I saw u and will keep my speed down in that area, especially in the am hrs...., taking the extra step to call my work and complain to my boss about it is the part that bothers me, that just makes u a miserable person, thanks for getting me scolded at work and ruining what was a nice day thus far , hope u feel better about yourself, next time my hand gesture wont b so polite...#xingcopass-umption
