Before I start, let me say that Im awfully glad over 300,000 people marched in the streets of New York to express the idea that addressing the causes of climate change is URGENT! Now, lets face a hard fact. Our efforts to stop the industrial ruling class from destroying the environment have, so far, failed. Marches, petitions, slogans, campaigns, elections, letters, books, and more - all of the tools we know - have failed. 300,000 people are a lot of people but Im sure some of you remember this day: 15 February 2003. Millions of people in the streets to stop a war that still rages. Personally, I think their is only one solution. Indigenize. We are from here, after all. Quit worshipping the next world and start respecting the rights of Mother Earth, the Great Mystery, the land, the air, the water, your wild kin. Listen to the wild blood in your own veins and meet the demands of the Real World.
