Before and after Photos of our blind girl Sarah.... Sarah is our resident totally blind girl who came into our care over 12 months ago... During that time Sarah has got used to life on the cat park, she is totally familiar with her little bit of the park...Volunteers leave water, food bowls and furniture exactly the same each day so has not to confuse her.. It has taken Dawn many months of patience and perseverance to gain Sarahs trust, she now recognises Dawns voice and recently has started to allow Dawn to stroke her... Because Sarah is now more trusting it has enabled Dawn to take Sarah to Vet Marias for a operation on both her eyes... Maria removed what was left of her eyes and has closed her eye lids, once fully healed Sarahs eyes will not water, run or get sore anymore... Whilst Sarah was under the anesthetic Maria wormed, front lined and gave her a full health check, but probably the best thing of all was Maria shaved Sarahs hair off, this revealed the most beautifully marked silky grey coat.. Sarah looks simply wonderful... During this past week Sarah has been in the quarantine area, this we feel has helped build Sarahs trust even more, because each day she has been handled and loved whilst her cage was cleaned out... Sarah was released back onto the main park area yesterday, it was such a joy to see her exploring her bit of the park again, but perhaps the nicest thing to witness was Sarah actually calling out to Dawn when Dawn was speaking to her... A truly lovely cat that we all love and adore...
