Before another Sunday comes, let me say about the biggest thrill - TopicsExpress

Before another Sunday comes, let me say about the biggest thrill coming to me at last weeks Opera on Tap - North Texas performance, was seeing my long-time friend Dorothy Van Dyck! ~ Back in 1959, when Fred & I moved into a duplex on Sycamore Street, near the campus, Dorothy and Harry were in the other side. We each had one son, and while living there Mark Graham was born to me and 6 months later Chris Van Dyck to Dorothy. I used to push them together in a stroller on those sidewalks near NT. ~ Chris started school a year later than Mark, because of the months in which they were born. In high school Mark played in the Orchestra; Chris sang the lead of Curley in DHS Oklahoma! They each would major in music in different colleges. Later Chris got a law degree. He served in Environmental Law for Colorado; Consumer Protection Law in Nevada; was sworn in later as a Federal District Judge. Dot and I keep up with each others sons. She comes to as many of Marks performances as she can. ~ She told me in advance, You may not recognize me now. Dorothy was the prettiest I have ever seen her!!! In more than 50 years!
