I simply need advice. https://youtube/watch?v=YLFMzCibiOk I Run a youtube page called Metal Playlist as the title states, I create playlists for various genres and artists. (Closing in on 10.000 subscribers and 2million views) A Genre Ive been missing out on a lot is Melodic Death Metal. It has been requested a lot of late and I would like to give my subscribers a MDM playlist. The thing is..im not entirely sure how to describe a MDM song. My questions for you guys are: - What bands would be a disgrace if I let them out. What needs to be on the playlist? - What song would describe MDM perfectly. I would like a go to song if im in doubt whats the right sound for this genre. - Whats the definition of MDM? Looking at your posts ive learned a little. There are some mixed feelings towards In Flames From what I can tell I should stick to their early stuff? Same goes for Children of Bodom..right? Any advice can help. Thanks in advance.
