Before most AAII-SV meetings I do a bit of prep work on the topic and speaker. So today I was getting ready for next weeks meeting featuring Terry Sullivan of The Bloodhound System. Im looking forward to this meeting since Bloodhound provides tools and information on screening and back testing -- both of which are central to my own investment methodology. I took the time to look at the Bloodhound web site and am impressed by what I see. I particularly like the fact that they have 27 years of data to back test against. (If youre into back testing you can **never** have enough data to back test against.) For retail investors this is the longest historical data set I am aware of. For example, I use Portfolio123 and they go back to 1998. So my interest level has definitely shot up. Hope to see you at the meeting next week.
