Before the HHS Alumni Banquet someone mentioned to me the possibility of changing the date from a national holiday weekend to September during the Mallardfest celebration...I thought it a terrific idea for many reasons such as COOLER temps...less congested highway/air travel...better chance (maybe better rates?) for lodging...etc. I know of a few classmates who can never come because they are locked into long-standing family 4th of July get-togethers. The Mallardfest weekend is another terrific effort on the part of the Hanover community so we wouldnt be losing anything there. Next year looks to be a banner year and we all know what a huge crowd on a hot day in the gym would be like...I realize the change wouldnt be easy and needs to be done well ahead of time but thought Id put the word out and just see what everyone thinks. We had a wonderful time this year, as always, and are so thankful for the dedicated people who do all the work. I certainly dont want to start trouble but enough schoolmates asked me to do this that I thought I should give it a shot! Again...thank you all for a terrific weekend at the reunion...at Mannys and the VFW...and the GriffInn!!! :-D
