Before we start I am a working class socialist and follower of Paulo Friere and Henry Giroux. I also live in a housing association property on a former council estate. I will have dialogue with anyone who can in anyway democratically bring down the present dreadful oppressive system that we now live under. An oppressive system which is being imposed upon us by the Tories and the Labour party with the help of the unions who fully support the Labour party. We as working class people should try to understand that we are being culturally invaded by the middle classes. These people exist within the Labour party and the far right wing groups such as the SWP, and the union Unite. Combined, these three entities (who are mostly unaware of what they are doing) are oppressing us by acting as paternal figures who think they have the right to impose their disempowering agendas onto us. Paulo Freire saw cultural invasion as a form of violence against the people who were being invaded. Paulo Freire, who wrote the famous book Pedagogy of the Oppressed, covers this issue in the book. The oppressor (minority) groups who are the Tories, who have implemented this nightmare, the Labour party and the union Unite. These entities must divide the oppressed tenants who are in the majority to remain in power. They do this to stop the oppressed majority from uniting as one group. The unification of the oppressed tenants is a major threat to the hegemonic position of the above mentioned cultural invaders. The far left wing should wake up to the fact that they are being used by the Labour party and the union Unite to further discredit anyone who disagrees with them. If you look closely at the way the union Unite is behaving you will see that they have already set up an oppressive movement called the Merseyside Anti-Bedroom Tax Federation and set into motion certain rules and oppressive stipulations which are designed to divide the tenants and censor what they say, through the covert use of political correctness. While the above minority entities are allowed to maintain control they will stultify any meaningful working class movement. The tenants need to ignore the above people by organising themselves and devising their own methodology to fight against these dreadful welfare state cuts, which will, in one form or another, be carried on by the reforming Labour party if they get back into power in 2015. There are already a two Facebook groups called Huyton United Residents Together (HURT) and Knowsley Fight the Bedroom Tax, who are aware of what the above entities are up to and have decided to empower themselves without any manipulation from the above mentioned. These, including myself, are true working class people who will not accept this cultural invasion. We have also developed a simple narrative and discourse to explain working classes how the above operate. I used to post on Combat the bedroom tax on Merseyside, which is a pretty busy Facebook run by a far left-wing guy using a pseudonym. I think this guy is an archetypical quintessential middle class geek who sees himself as an Orwellian figure who has the right to speak out for working class people like us. Whilst we as working class people welcome guys like this we do not welcome their oppressive paternal attitude. I think this guy is known as Adam Ford, but I could be wrong? Anyway whoever it is he has barred me primarily because he didn’t like me having a go at the beloved Labour party and the union Unite and the Unite officer Sheila Coleman. Everyone knows that the union Unite financially supports the Labour party to the tune of over £4 million a year. All the unions combined give Labour over £132 million per year. The Labour party in turn are working behind the scenes in collusion with the Tories at central government level trying through the use of stealth and deception (something the Labour party excel at) to put together a strategy to make it easier for them to further pauperise the poor unemployed and disabled working classes if they get back into power in 2015. These blind Labour party and SWP activists also started levelling false allegations against me in an obvious attempt to discredit me. I thought this was sad because I never really said anything that was untrue or offensive. I think the guy who runs this Facebook page is doesn’t understand the working class mind set or perspective. If I lose my job I will have to pay this dreadful BT. Once you start banning voiceful people from Facebook pages your Facebook becomes stereotyped and boring. I also think the guy who runs Combat the bedroom Tax on Merseyside has a hidden apolitical agenda? I believe that the union Unite and the Labour party, who have connections with the SWP, are trying to dumb down and neutralise any working class movement from arising to fight against the destruction of our welfare state. The BT is a one aspect of the misery that the Tories and the Labour party want to impose upon us as they destroy our welfare state. These two parties intend to take working class people back into another Dickensian age governed by fear of financial insecurity and homelessness. We as working class people must wake up to the fact that the Labour party and the unions don’t represent us anymore is all these two entities think about is appeasing the middle classes to get their vote so that they can stay in power forever. And as we all know there can be no dialogue with the blind sectarian far left wing who, as already stated, are blindly helping the Labour party and the unions to nullify and neutralise any meaningful working class involvement.
