Before you get too frustrated with all the Pink, know that there are simple, easy, free things you can do that make a BIG difference for lung cancer. Last year a friend came to me very distraught- She was newly diagnosed & felt very unconfident & unqualified to do anything, yet she was shocked at the onslaught of pink in her Medical center & wanted to DO something for LCAM. All she really needed was some info on How To & to hear You can do this. So she set out to talk to the director at her local Medical Center ...& Voila! There was a display put up for LCAM. A few others in our group did this too & were beaming when they got displays.Not only have they established relationships with their Centers- support groups,& other programs for LC have sprung up as a result.
