Before you started reading for your medical degree, you were already exposed to our societies growing disdain for the Trinidad and Tobago medical system. As the years went by you became more familiar with the problems and issues plaguing the system. However, like a good medical student, you kept studying, nose down and eyes focused, drilling the same materials that the previous generations of physicians also memorized, All with the hope of one day being a great clinician. But, will this alone allow for a revolution? Will an influx of students who aced their final M.B.B.S exams alter the course of medicine? No. What will allow for that change is critical thinking skills, courage to fight against a system we know is inefficient, and the grit and determination to not buckle under the slightest opposition from the established authority. On November 21st @ 6pm in Amphi B, come listen to your peers present their solutions to various issues plaguing our society. If you are interested in presenting please contact leadership.fms@gmail for more details. https://facebook/events/1422808847935686/
