Begin rant: Got swing/jazz on pandora in the shop. Coworkers looking at me like why aint you playing hip hop/rap music!? Nope. I dont really listen to music that fits my stereotype. Got about 40+ hours of music on my phones hard drive and about 5 hours of it is hardcore hip hop/gangster rap. My skin color, build, character, and personification already frightens people at a mere glace. I rather not add to the already difficult time existing by blasting empty meaningless repetitive music of urban culture persuasion (not that I care or anything, I just genuinely like music from other cultures and different time period) I rarely play hardcore hip hop, gangster rap reason being I grew up witnessing the bad and the ugly. And I rather not be reminded of it. People reject and denounced the unfamiliar. Quite hilarious to me, thats why I believe people who listen to two/three types of genres because thats what they like are the people who are imprisoned within their own mind. These people cant break out the social slavery because of what others might think or say about them. Break free from the social prison and you might actually learn something... ...End rant!
