Classroom Session Thursday February 6. Field trip Sunday February 9. Registration required. If you want to get acquainted with common backyard birds that are here year round, and common winter visitors that are in the neighborhood, this class is for you. We will do some armchair birding and investigate bird-friendly plants. You will have fun learning Austin’s backyard birds and what it takes to keep them happy. If time allows, we will visit a local preserve to practice identification skills.
