Beginning in October, The Legacy Center, in partnership with Midland County Public Schools, will publish a quarterly magazine called Youth Connections for parents of 6th through 12th grade students. The magazine’s objective is to provide parents and community members with information and resources they need to create an environment in which all youth flourish and thrive. Developmental Assets are a key component of the magazine, which is why the list of assets is published in every issue. The magazine will be mailed to homes, additional copies will be available at designated locations throughout the community, and PDFs will be available on our website. The first issue will include articles about kids and stress, allowing the gift of failure, e-cigarette truths, sleep/exercise/nutrition tips and the silent epidemic: prescription drug abuse and more.
