Beginning on September 29, the entire Southeast Houston region - TopicsExpress

Beginning on September 29, the entire Southeast Houston region will begin routine water line maintenance to improve water quality by converting to free chlorine disinfection for approximately 30 days. During this period, customers may notice a slight chlorine taste or odor in the water, but the water will remain safe for consumption and everyday uses. However, users of kidney dialysis machines and owners of tropical fish aquariums will need to make appropriate modifications to their procedures. This practice is in accordance with State and Federal drinking water regulations.
