Behold! The rarely photographed, White Horned Charlotte. TRUE STORY...So today I was in Marquette for a conference. I miss understood the invite and arrived an hour earlier than JUST about everyone else...so I found a cozy spot to wait, popped in my ear buds-started listening to a book on audible while working on a crocheting project I had in my bag. Engrossed in my story, and in my handiwork, I became oblivious to my surroundings until 3 armed Michigan State Troopers and a dapper man in a 3 piece suit stopped near me. The officer asked me a question- I pulled out an ear bud and begged her pardon. The conversation went like this: Officer 1: What are you making? Me: A unicorn horn. Officer 2: A unicorn horn? Me: Yes, a unicorn horn. My friend has an all white pony who wants to be a unicorn for halloween so I am crocheting her a horn. 3 officers and dapper man: *STARES* Dapper Man: What are YOU smoking?! Officers: *Raucous Laughter* Me (nervously): actually its the ponys little girl who.... I... I listen better when my hands are busy. Dapper Man: Its okay... I am just poking fun at you. (Walking away) A unicorn horn for a pony.... AN HOUR LATER I had almost finished constructing my horn when the Dapper man took the mic and introduced himself as a DEA agent from Washington, D.C.
