Behold, we consider blessed those who showed endurance. ... (James 5:11 TLV) What a day of reflection, as I, and many others, look back 13 years ago. On September 11, 2001, our Country was attacked by terrorists. This Country that many of us know as our homeland, today. We are quite fortunate to live in a land of freedom and opportunity, thanks to a President, who first and foremost, seeks peace, security and the safety for us, the people of The United States. And, thanks to the brave men and women of our military, who protect our Country. I often think about the tragedy of the terrorist attack which occurred 13 years ago in New York; Washington, D.C.; and Pennsylvania, and I pray for those of us who show endurance, for we are blessed. On last evening, our President spoke to the Nation and the world about another possible terrorists threat to parts of the world, including The United States. President Barack Obama has to make some awesome decisions in order to keep this Country safe, as we know it. That is his main focus right now; among all the other high profile issues needing his attention (i.e., jobs, higher wages, education, immigration, discrimination, mid-term elections, etc.), yet, some of us are so spoiled, lazy, frightened, prejudice, obstructive, jealous, heartless, that will find fault in him, no matter what--shame on those who would. None of us are perfect ... We all need help. This is a time to be who you are and have chosen to be--The UNITED States of America. We must rally around our Commander and Chief and support him and his brilliant Administration, and do what is necessary to be the proud Country which we CHOOSE to live. God gave all of us choices, from the very beginning. You can now choose to UNITE or you can choose to leave this Country for another one of the 196 countries, which includes Taiwan. Personally, I choose to remain in an imperfect United States, than to leave it for any other country, at the present time. I love and pray for President Barack Obama and his Family, as he continues to try and protect and, to a certain degree, avenge our country (just ask Osama Bin Laden ...!)
