Being Grateful Gratefulness is the key to receiving more blessings from the Lord. Imagine, as a parent, constantly giving to your children; and yet, they never thanked you for the good gifts from your heart. Sing out your thanks to the LORD; sing praises to our God with a harp. Psalms 147:7 (NLT). When we show God our gratitude for His blessings, He is more willing to bless us more. Let us come to Him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to Him. Psalms 95:2 (NLT). Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. Psalms 100:4 (NLT). Sing to the LORD; praise His name. Each day proclaim the good news that He saves. Psalms 96:2 (NLT). God has provided for our salvation and forgiven us our sins through His beloved Son, Jesus (Yeshua). That alone is reason for continual thanks to God through Christ! And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body, you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom He gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Colossians 3:15-17 (NLT). If we have a place to sleep, food to eat, clothes to wear, and other blessings that we take for granted: it shows that God is providing for us. You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord, your God: Deuteronomy 28:2 (NLT). I thank the Lord for my blessings every day. There are so many blessings that we never even think about: sunshine, rain, friends, family, butterflies, water, food, and a myriad of other things. Thank You, Father God for Your great love for us! For God loved the world so much that He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NLT).
