Being a language aficionado, I found this interesting. I got North Eastern. Go figure. I have been in the south all my life. Broadcasting tends to give one a neutral accent. However, the older I get, I notice more Southern sneaking into my accent. Though I use a more North Eastern or Mid Western vocabulary; people from New England tell me they hear a sort-of Southern Accent, while my fellow southerners tell me my accent is not Southern.
