Being a part of the electoral political process dictated by the western concept of democracy (against their own concept of real islamic way), entering into coliations, taking sides and failing to accomplish a true islamic state in case opportunity arises .... has at times made the religious organizations compromise on their fundamentals, has dented their image & raised a question mark on their ability to lead.... Examples..... Maulana Fazulu-rehaman Sb. entered into coliation with PPP was minister under Benazir Bhutto, JI extended support to military dictator Gen Zia-ul-Haq Sb, & the latest opportunity missed by jb President Mursi in Egypt (with the co-operation of most islamic organizations) followed by a salafi organization Al-noori supporting military dictator ................ Is it politicization of islam or islamic politics.....
