Being a passionate animal lover and also volunteer rehabbing aggressive/emotionally difficult rescues, I have seen some raw footage of the torture and atrocities committed on dogs. And these dogs in Thailand are subjected to intense cruelty. Intense brutality. Then to suffer to their deaths. I have been criticized for helping dogs from outside of Canada. It is not region-specific for the rescue of these helpless dogs...Im embarrassed that people who profess to love dogs and want to rescue them, but care so little if the dogs are not Canadian...people involved in Great Dane rescue like Teri Lawson...who openly decry adopting dogs outside of Canada yet she moved to Texas for 5 years...and Im guessing, she buys foreign-made goods. She had been quite critical of my efforts with Nina. This is the same woman, when transferring Otto to her, yanked on his chain; yelled at him and yanked harder on his chain; kept him locked inside her pick up truck with the windows closed for 5 minutes in 22 degree Celsius weather until I forcibly raised my voice to get her to open the window. Im sorry for my rant...just tired of ignorant people like Teri.
