Being a social media specialist, this annoys me annually. lol I am noticing alot of Facebook disclaimers posted. Truth: You agreed to and allowed Facebook to use your intellectual property when you signed up and clicked the Accept Terms button. You are using their property to host your content. So, you are somewhat renting their space for free, so they use your information to help advertisers sell to you in exchange. You own the copyright to all of your content, but you grant Facebook a worldwide license to use it royalty-free (subject to your privacy settings). If you do not agree to this, the only option is to delete your profile and even then Facebook has saved a backup file of all of your content for an indefinite amount of time.
