Being a walker between the worlds was my chosen path long ago. It remains my chosen path today, and it has yielded many rewards. My latest world is that of the tabletop RPG, and the realization of a dream-come-true Being a resident DM at a noteworthy game shop had been a dream of mine for decades. But, as far as dreams go, it was always relegated to being on the backburner, because I always kept busy, trying different hats on, chasing different dreams, seeing different women, and sampling lifes many flavors. I am grateful for Empire Gaming NY having welcomed me into the fold. What we create together transcends art, space, and time. I am grateful for my wingman Luke Gygax, without whom Benchleydale would be a far less interesting sandbox. I am grateful for Tom McTague, still rolling the polyhedral dice with me thirty-three years later. I am grateful for Thomas Cavanagh, whos enthusiasm for the hobby has helped to re-energize my own enthusiasm. I am grateful for Lloyd Metcalf, Benoist Poire, Ernest Gary Gygax Jr., and Mark Taormino, whos willingness to allow me to playtest their adventures with our groups is a delight. I am grateful for Bryan Fazekas and Ronald G. Redmond for welcoming me into the fold as The Brewmaster. & Magazine is a wildy creative publication that everyone ought to read. I am grateful for Jayson Elliot, James Carpio, Tim Kask, Susan Silver, Mary Lindholm, R Scott Taylor, Lenard Lakofka, and everyone at Gygax Magazine for welcoming into the fold as a writer there. I have high hopes for that publication, and Id love to regain enough of my health someday, to be able to contribute more often. So much gratitude, so little time.
