Being captured as a prisoner of war once makes for a good story, much less twice. That is the story World War II and Korean War veteran William “Bill” Freeman has to share. Officials at Marine Corps Logistics Base-Albany hosted their 28th annual Prisoners of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) recognition breakfast at the installation’s Town and Country Grand Ballroom on Friday morning. The event is held to recognize all service members, living or deceased, who are ex-POWs or are still listed as unaccounted for.
