Being noticed, being clear, being different and being consistent are some of the hallmarks of a good brand. All top brands in the market like Apple, Coke, McDonald, Samsung, etc., possess these qualities. But they have also endured severe criticisms and slanderous campaigns. However, they use criticism as part of feedback in measuring and improving both their market share and their corporate social responsibilities. You are a brand! So endeavour to benefit from every criticism irrespective of who the critics are, or the manner of the criticism. You are under construction therefore use every opportunity to improve and be better. Treat everyone that comes your way today like a school; be a good student, learn something from them. You owe yourself to be better today than your were yesterday. Some of us would rather be ruined by praise than saved by criticism. We often refuse correction because we thought the ‘wrong person’ gave it in a ‘wrong way’. Even if the criticism was intended to run you down, always bear in mind that it is not the critic who counts; it is not the things thrown at you that destroy you but what you do with them either makes or mars you. Listen; if you let criticism make you bitter, it wont make you better! Bear this in mind; success is natural to the one who is wise enough to make good choices towards change in the face of helpful facts. Dont stubbornly hold to your way because of pride and arrogance. If you do, you will miss chances of growth and becoming a better you. Critics whose intention is to run you down, do not actually possess the power to do so; it’s all down to you to destroy yourself with the garb they throw at you or to simply duck and concentrate on your journey to greatness. Whenever you improve from criticism designed to run you down, you inflict pain on the critics. Be clear minded, be unique and different in a good way, and be consistent in being good. As a brand there is a niche you are designed to fill. You are created to add value to others. Don’t be so self-occupied thinking everybody is against you. Change your mindset; look at things from a brighter perspective. You have all it takes to make it; go for it!
