Being spiritual and myself, it is often difficult for me to convey what Im trying to say to other humans and have anyone really get it. I live in a black or white world where very little grey area exists. When the rest of the world is getting caught up in worldly appointments and what I call traps my mind is off wondering what our existence is truly all about. What is really up there? Why are we here? Every song I do has some sort of deep meaning to me and while i dont expect anyone to understand the direct messages Im trying to convey in my music, it does offer a glimpse into my mind and soul. This is a piece called One Seventeen. It is about the bypass of worldly cares and soul investment into temporary things and mind occupation. We may never be free on earth and perhaps it wasnt designed to be free but our souls can all commute to where we need to be at any given moment. So if you ever felt like an alien at a party where you felt out of place and never part of the group this song is for you. Afterall, a life spent accruing posessions and things may bring you great temporary pleasure, but, those things wont fit in your casket. Are we stuck on earth?
