Being that i read a post on here this morning concerning a person praising the people in our town i would like to add my own little scenario that happened today that makes my heart happy... My 20 yr old daughter is a single mom and has been from day one of my grandsons birth 2 years ago and with that comes having to work very hard to provide for her and her son, she never asks for money, she tries to provide on her own and it makes me so very proud. I her mother have an illness and she often tries not to stress me out with what she may think is a minor issue, such as having an owie thats bothering her.. Today at her place of employment as a cashier at Extra Foods a woman at my daughters till took the time to notice something about the girl running her groceries through, and that was that her wrist was bandaged up and then took the time to ask why, my daughter explained why and the woman informed her the tensor was not enough and that she needed a proper brace for it. My daughter feeling a bit awkward as any of us would said to the woman i cant afford one at this time ..With that being said that wonderful woman packed up her groceries only to return later with a wrist brace she purchased for my daughter and all i can say is that beautiful, wonderful, giving experience made my daughters day and all she could say was I love my Job, i love my customers.. These are the types of things that make Smithers what it is, a great place to live.. Thank you to the beautiful soul, you are wonderful :)
