Being that its my b day and I have a twin brother, I figured it would be funny to list all the absurd things Im asked about being a twin: Whos older? A logical question but when I answer that Im younger people react as if I came second in the super bowl and Brent has some unfathomable power over me for eternity Youre not identical? Then how are you a twin? Then the explanation of fraternal twins blows their mind. Biology 101 people. If he gets hurt do you feel it? Unfortunately and fortunately no. Though Ive caught myself a few times getting a random pain and start to wonder if my bro is hurt. 100% of the time hes not. Sorry to disappoint. Can you talk to each other telepathically? While I feel this is just a fantastical wish that my confirmation would somehow validate the askers own belief in telepathy, tragically no we cannot. Were still humans, not aliens. Do you have your own language? Im sure that it has happened before with a set of twins, but me and Brent are too lazy to attempt such a thing. Sharing the same b day must suck! NO no it does not. Having someone to share a day like that with is super kick ass. You should all be jealous. And lastly when me and Brent are together and its revealed that were twins, literally 99.8% of the time were called liars, have to pull out our drivers licenses, and even THEN people still dont believe it and are convinced were lying. Youre right, Ive lived 28 years and this whole time have constructed a lie so grand that no one had ever figured it out until just now, at a random bar, by a random person Ive ever met. Congrats you super sleuth you! Youve foiled my master plan of deceit!!! Cmon man. But seriously being a twin is an amazing blessing and having someone that I share an unbreakable bond with is something Ill cherish forever. Happy me and you day, Brent. Love ya.
