Being that this is Veterans Day, I wanted to recognize my Dad and his service during World War II. Weve all recognized over these years how selfless that Greatest Generation was and is! How they were reluctant to talk about their experiences during the War. As an example although my Dad and I discussed everything possible for more then 60 years, before he passed one year ago. Fairly recently he casually mentioned that he had to jump out of a burning plane into the then Yugoslavia. He stayed in the woods there for 3 days. That info I had to drag out of him. I was 58 years old when he told me! Think about how many times we ALL would have tweeted, emailed, posted on facebook, instagramed, etc. that little tale!! Thanks to you Big Joe and all those who have truly sacrificed!!!
