Beinsafi Sarkar ki: Harassment of BPL parivar: Gransevak informed a BPL parivar about sanction of Swasth Sauchalaya, on 23.6.13. Labour charges were to be paid thru Bank a/c of registered NAREGA labourers within 5-6 days of commencement of construction. Work was completed on 1.7.13 but payments are likely to be received by end August/mid Sept. Since labourers could wait for such inordinate delay, they pressurised BPL parivar to arrange advance payment and accordingly money had to be borrowed at high interest. Is this act of Govt. justified ? No. Govt. (CM ji) is interested in generation of Statistics but not bothered about the harassment it causes to an already pressurised BPL parivar.
