Beknown Printing will be doing limited edition screen print posters of the S.Y.L. event. Support Your Locals will be a double monthly concert series starting next month. The premise is simple, quality shows w/ quality artist that have proven track records. All Concerts will be $10 in advance, $15 at the door. I dont just want to see a few heads attending, I want to show the masses that we can sell out the venue. Too many of us have proven time and time again that were not upstarts or rookie performers looking to make a name for ourselves. Im tired of seeing Hip Hop shows ruined with a bevy of opening artists that have no correlation to the headliner in terms of style, drawing power, etc. and im sure the true supporters are sick of it too. Thats not being cocky, thats FACT! Starting in March, Bookhoustonmusic will begin integrating Major Underground Artist into rotation every 2 months to coincide with the S.Y.L showcases.
