Beldar is a fantastic 15.3 hh, 17 year old safe and sane Percheron/Quarter horse cross. He is 100% SOUND. Vet checks welcome. He has been used as a lesson horse for novices in the arena/round pen, a leadline horse for our kids to learn their balance, and has even made a special appearance for all the kids to ride at my daughters second birthday party. We ride him up to town and take him through the drive thru at McDonalds to grab lunch. His owner (my husband), is a super beginner who doesnt know the first thing about how to ride. We have had him since March and he has been very good to my husband, along with all of my beginner friends who have come to learn how to ride. As you can see, he is also an absolutely LOVE BUG with my 90 year old grandma, too. He has been ridden in a flat grazing bit, a hackamore, and a bosal and has done fantastic in all! You can literally ride him in ANYTHING. He neck reins and is easy to ride for just about anyone, although, I prefer that he go to someone who at least knows a little about riding. Advanced beginner and up. He prefers to take it slow, but will move and get up and go when asked. NO SPOOK, whatsoever. Has been ridden around popping balloons, big trucks, traffic, odd looking/noisy animals, and dirtbikes. Will go out alone or in a group. No videos. Serious people must come see him in person.
