Believe It Or Not, JESUS CHRIST IS HERE!!!! Luke 2:21-35, Eight days later, when the baby was circumcised, he was named Jesus, the name given to him by the angel even before he was conceived.. At that time there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon. He was righteous and devout and eagerly waiting for the Messiah to come and rescue Israel. The Holy Spirit was upon him and had revealed to him that he would not die until he had seen the Lords Messiah.. Jesus parents were amazed at what was being said about their son. Then Simeon blessed them, and he said to Mary, the babys mother, This child is destined to cause many in Israel to fall, but he will be a joy to many others. He has been sent as a sign from God, but many will oppose him. As a result, the deepest thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your very soul....... Do you know this Jesus? Better yet - Do you have joy in your life, no matter what the circumstances are, because this one called, Jesus, is living in you? Mmmm, do you know this Jesus?.... Or, by you examining your heart and lifestyle, you have become one of the many who really oppose this One named, Jesus, even though you gather together on Sunday mornings to worship Him???.. And its really due to His presence in your life, that has, and is causing you to separate yourself from this Messiah, so that you can get back to living your life, instead of Gods life!!! Could this be true about you, my church-going friend?...... As a result of you reading this post, and hearing my thoughts, are you feeling the sword of Gods Word piercing your very soul? Are you feeling the presence of this One called, Jesus, trying to enter your heart and soul?.. But know this, God is a gentleman. He will not force himself on anyone. He wants to see if you will let him in and love him more than anything.... But, know this also, WITHOUT HIM, YOU WILL DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH, AND SPEND FOREVER IN THE LAKE OF FIRE!!!!... And, this is not Gods will, but your choice!!!.. God has done his part, in sending us Jesus!!!. Now we must do our part in letting Him into our hearts... Are you positive that you know this Messiah, named Jesus?.. Knowing Him as Lord = Forever walking the streets of gold.. Thinking you know Him as Lord, or rejecting Him altogether = THE NEVER QUENCHING FIRE OF HELL!!!!..... Not my thoughts, but the truth of Gods Word!!!!
